Keenat installs recycle bins for cigarette butts, masks and chewing gum, as well as providing awareness stands with activities and training sessions for companies to educate them on eco-responsibility.

A study done by the United Nations confirms that cigarette butts are the largest form of plastic pollutants found in the environment, especially in our oceans. This issue is exactly what motivates Keenat to keep raising awareness and inspire more action to be taken throughout France. They have collected over a million butts and continue organising actions with citizens and institutions, to ensure that the waste is disposed off and recycled in an environmentally friendly manner.

Certifications from Keenat can be rewarded for institutions that adopt these recycling methods. These reports can be used as evidence of their commitment to sustainability and their adoption of ESG standards.
